Turbografx Mini is back up for sale in the US. www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B07QD9GQ9JI was wondering. Has anyone found an arcade stick that will work with the mini systems? I want to get a Turbografx mini or coregrafx mini but if I can't use an arcade stick of any sort then there is no point for me since that is my controller of choice. IMHO, it’s not worth that sort of investment until someone fixes the lag issues or whatever it is. It seems like any PS4 stick would work but that’s $150 thrown at $100 wrongly spent if you’re super hung up on controls. When and if it does get properly hacked I’d assume that it would support a much much larger range of USB sticks...the hundreds currently locked out for no good reason.

the lag issues is not that bad in my opinion, barely that noticeable to me.
what is awesome about pce /tgx mini is that is plug and play, take it to work and place during lunch, take it on holiday play at hotel tv etc
The hori stick compatibilty is not official, probably accidentally added or that switch wired controllers is simalar to pce /tgx mini

I played all the way through Y’s I&II without complaint...but that game is pretty klutz-friendly. I simply SUCK at Lords of Thunder though, which is a game I’ve 1CCed literally 100 times. Something is for sure up.
If the lag is never fixed then at least I’d like to swap some games...load up up with RPGs and jong titles and I’d never care about the lag.

Core-Grafx Mini is reduced to £69.99 on Amazon UK at the moment Was the Mini always 99 British pounds in England? With currency conversions, dropping it to 70 seems more like a price correction than sale. google tells me that's about $90usd...so $10 off?

It was always £99. Conversions are pretty much 1:1 with retail price in UK vs USA, regardless of the exchange rate (I think it's a tax thing)

I gather that you are not aware that UK, things are more expensive, example, iphone 12 pro is US$999, but in UK, it's GBP999, that's like US$230 difference, if you want to expensive, have a look at the cost a gallon of gas compare to gallon of petrol in UK, it will shock you, but there again, US medical insurance is most expensive in the world, but in UK, the NHS is excellent and a lifesaver

My older bro purchased PC engine core grafx mini in UK, GBP30 off list price and he was happy, better than white pc engine mini as well, with auto fire controllers and salamander, even the grey colour is nicer.

Not that I've seen. I'd guess the holdup is still the fact that the system doesn't have a reset button. I didn't realize that was going to cause as many issues as it has, but I'm guessing working up a safe USB-only payload is pretty tricky. I don't know which teams are working on it, but I tend to try to check the Rockin' the Classics Discord to see what's going down as of late.

I know a surprising number of people who are picking these up just now. I suspect this unit might be a sleeper hit for the broader classic/retro gaming community.

I don't think it will massively sucessful, more likely reasonalble sales, may even reach 1mil units, not sure if there is sucessor model with more games

just wondering, has anyone has issues with power failure with their pc engines/tg16 mini? if yes, what usb adpater did you use? apparantly there are a few broken pc engine /tg16 mini due to incorrect usb adaptors, could pd chargers and high powered usb chargers for raspberry pi be killing pc engine mini/tg16 minis?:

... if yes, what usb adpater did you use? I've been using my USB 2.0 port on my desktop PC since my monitor is one of the few TV's that have HDMI in my house I haven't experienced any issues.

I've been informed some time ago that you should NOT use the raspberry pi PSUs as they can fry the mini's I've mostly been using the USB from my TV to power the mini consoles but you have to check your TV since mine has 2 x USB connectors but only 1 of them is 5v.
