But World Heroes 2, that's another story. Best home version right here on the little ole' Engine that could.

If you just listen to the soundtrack while looking at pictures online its about the same, really. Sapphire's gameplay is not that great compared to any other vertical shmooper Overrated for sure. Cool game though still.

Some games mentioned: Legendary Axe II - I actually prefer this over the original. I love the original, but LA2 is an easier game to run through with better darker (16-bit looking?) graphics and an awesome spooky soundtrack. It's one of my favorite HuCards. Cosmic Fantasy 2 - agree actually for the most part. The presentation is so well done with cut scenes and voice acting. The soundtrack is amazing too. However, I'd say the random encounters nearly cripples the game as well as the other 'features' that Working Designs added with certain items/poisons being broken. Arcade cards: Everyone should have one and dump their CD-rom and SCD cards cause the ACD one plays all disc games right? With the exception of a few that require special cards. I think having the Fatal Fury's, Art of Fighting, Sapphire, and World Heroes 2 is absolutely worth it. Me: I'm not in love with Blazing Lazers, but it grew on me once I played the Soldier series on PCE. It was like you can go back and see how the 'series' evolved Splatterhouse. Still not in love with it. meh. Bonk games= Bonk's Revenge > Bonk 3 > Bonk's Adventure - and no they're not as good as Mario and Sonic games, but I think Bonk's Revenge is in my top 5 best 16-bit platformers just after Super Mario World and Sonic The Hedgehog 2. I think Beyond Shadowgate is one of the finest gaming experiences on Super CD!!

Cosmic Fantasy 2 was apparently mechanically broken in Japanese, too. WD simply didn't fix or implement the missing content.

I enjoy playing Gunboat. And World Class Baseball. And TV Sports Football.
Dungeon Explorer game play is over rated. But the soundtrack easily makes up for it.

I like the DE music, but I don't think it's the best ever. It's among the best, but I don't think it's THE best. I like Magical Chase's soundtrack just as much, and Air Zonk, and Legendary Axe, for example.

There are so many great Huey soundtracks, but DE is certainly one of the best, particularly the style of sound itself.

I'm not in love with Blazing Lazers, but it grew on me once I played the Soldier series on PCE. It was like you can go back and see how the 'series' evolved ? Gunhed and the Soldier series don't share any staff and aren't part of the same series. Or is this one of those controversial 'opinions' I've heard about?

That's why he put it in quotes I guess. Some people consider them a series because they're so similar

It's because of the Caravan Shooting connections.
