If you like Victory Road (the main reason I got this) you will be thrilled to know that it uses a twin stick control scheme so it’s better than any version you’ve played including the arcade. You can *really* swing that sword around now and it changed the game. I love it.

I through together some amiga Toki tiles with some Toki arcade sprites and used the turbo color palette so we could see how it would look.
If you want to try it on windows
escape key - exit arrow keys - control toki x key - toki jump

You can *really* swing that sword around now and it changed the game. I love it. Hell yeah! I would have accepted a shoulder button based control scheme but that's great news.
I bought that one shitty PS Mini version of Guerrilla War and Victory Road on the PS3/PSP and not only it had an atrocious "character faces walk direction scheme", the "rotate with L1/R1" option was totally broken. Playing the game with the traditional rotary loop thing in the joystick is something else, and I feel like twin stick is the only reasonable way to go about it.
