The video I saw was definitely Saturn footage of Sega Rally. They have since released a video of Saturn Sega Rally, but the "reveal" trailer contained footage from the arcade game. URL below at 1:48
Oh yeah, that's definitely arcade for sure.

They have since owned up to the mistake and released a bunch of Saturn footage.

No FPGA is a big turnoff for me. Yeah, that was one of the big things they were using to make this console stand out from other all-in-one consoles. Also a bummer they removed Twitch integration. That was the main reason I had any inkling of interest in this. Hopefully they'll be able to get that working before the release date.

through this I learned that apparently a company called Extreme Co. Ltd owns the rights to the Masaya games...

WTF? Why are Start and Select way up there? Talk about clueless. I’m surprised the d-pad isn’t at an angle.

That is pretty bad...since the only excuse to have a six button pad to begin with is for versus fighting games.

That is pretty bad...since the only excuse to have a six button pad to begin with is for versus fighting games. Yeah, that's the whole reason I decided to take a chance on them. With what an Avenue 6 is going for plus shipping, it seemed more cost effective. I'm going to want to test this myself, but I'm still waiting on the fighting game I planned to use it for. Depending on how my evening goes, I might be able to play something tonight to see how two button mode works. According to the product page, Select and Run are mirrored on IV and III, so if that works properly they may still be useful. EDIT: Played for about an hour. The position of the Select and Run definitely isn't ideal. How much of a problem that is is going to depend on what you're playing, as the button mirroring works as advertised. I basically just pressed III instead of reaching up to Run. Select is a bit better, but still farther than I'd like. D-pad seemed okay, but possibly a little stiff. It may just need to be broken in. Like the Avenue 6, there's only one turbo setting. Worked just fine on one of the controllers, but on the other turbo only engaged if I was pressing a direction on the pad, which is really weird. I don't know if that's worth sending it back over; I'll have to see if any other problems turn up when I'm able to test six-button mode. Right now, assuming that isn't indicative of a quality control issue, these seem to at least be reasonable alternatives to a vintage three-button pad.

Forgotten Worlds on that would be a nightmare. I don't have a copy to test, but I imagine it should be fine, since you can play it the same way you would on an Avenue 3. I can't imagine why they don't advertise that on the box, since I don't know of any other six-button controllers that act like a three-button controller in two-button mode. Seems like a pretty good selling point.

Okay, guys, my fighting game finally came and I was able to test six-button mode on the Polymega controller. Unfortunately, I can confirm it doesn't work through a multitap. There also seems to be an intermittent problem with the phantom presses of the Run button while pressing another button. It doesn't happen all the time, as I had several matches where the problem didn't show up, but really it's a problem that it's happening at all.
Which is a shame, really, because if six-button mode worked without issues I'd definitely be able to recommend this. I had no problem executing special moves, and if it weren't for the buttons occasionally being read as Run I'd say they were responsive. It's pretty disappointing.
That said, I do still think these are fine in two-button mode. I haven't had any issues with that, so they're still worth considering if you need a three-button pad. I'm thinking I'll see if they'll let me return the one with the defective turbo switches for a refund, though I don't know what the chances of that are, but I'm okay with keeping the other one.

When you look at a controller and you see something really dumb about it right off the bat very rarely does it turn out OK.
When I saw Select and Run being way up top there...that’s just proof of their cluelessness. When you’re trying to perfectly emulate something you don’t elect to make pointless changes to the controller. The controller is also being emulated, it should be as accurate as practically possible.
On the other hand, having the Home button easier to get at than Select and Run is perfect for noobs with complete sets and Everdrives who change ROMs every two seconds. Makes more sense for them really, and they are the target customer. They won’t complain about the games not playing well if they don’t know how to play any of them.

Has PolyMega issues any kind of response to the issues with the 6-button not working with a Tap, or any of the other complaints?
