Yeah, I don't think being an ass toward people over stuff like this is a strong motivating factor. In fact, more often than not it convinces people maybe they don't want to bother releasing stuff, because people start acting entitled.

it was in the fan translation discord, I will look for the post. pretty much everyone in there is part of a team or working on a project so I generally assume there's some truth to what I see there. it hit me hard because I'm ill and I probably won't see it. well I'm glad that was bullshit.
