I'm sorry to hear you aren't well. There is one translation team in particular that might have reason to spread rumors like this, and I'm trying to figure out if it's just someone making assumptions or being malicious.

wow that's dedication! those are pretty pricey. I sold off/donated most of my collection last year. I may have jumped the gun on that heh, I'm still here. fingers crossed I'll get to play it!

Buying a game you want to play is considered hardcore devotion now? Did those games octuple in price recently? I don’t think I paid more than $20 for either of them and it may have been much less.
EXIT: I looked it up and I paid $7 for it part I, from Hit Japan even. There is no record I can find for when I bought II. This was in 2008 though so clearly that’s not today...
BTW, someone should edit the name of this thread. It’s becoming popular and every time I bump it I feel like I’m spreading fake news.

This really surprised me, but I checked and they're still available on ebay for the same prices they've been around gor the past 20 years. I didn't bother looking at sold listings, so they might actually sell for less. If you don't have an original copy of LoX you can buy one right now for $10 CAD shipped. |

Yeah, they were super cheap when I bought them recently. Think I got one for like $6, the other for $12-ish. Complete and mint, even.

Hello everyone.
I hope no one bothers, but since it's been almost four years since the last post, I'd like to ask if anyone has any news on the current status of the project, or if auditions for the dubbing were completed.
I have recently finished Tengaimakyou Ziria, thanks to the English translation, and I would love to be able to continue with the Legend of Xanadu series (I bought the originals in the 90s, but my Japanese level remained at a too basic level).

Don't quote me, but I believe the auditions were finished a long long time ago. I originally auditioned. However, my understanding was that some professional voice actors offered to do it for free which I considered bittersweet because it would have been fun to be involved in the project. Obviously it's nice to have professionals on the job!
Outside of that, I don't recall what the current status is other than I believe those involved are busy with RL like all of us. I don't remember the details though.
