Talking with Clodbuster in Chat, there aren't many Gamecube games I recognise as being truly great games. I wonder if I'm missing any? In my mind, these represent the cream of the crop:
F-Zero GX Super Smash Brothers Brawl Mario Sunshine Wario Ware Rogue Squadron 4 Sword Adventures
Hmm, I'm sure there are others, but that's all I can think of off the top of my head

Zelda: Wind Waker Zelda: 4 Swords (though this wasn't popular for some reason) Super Smash Brothers Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door
If you get a modded machine to play Japanese games, then Bomberman Land 2 (but there is a language barrier)

I'm not big on golf games but I've always really enjoyed Super Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour. That's probably my most played GC game. Mario Kart: Double Dash is also tons of fun, especially with a friend, but maybe newer versions surpass it.

GameCube really bucks the trend. Most of these A+ games can be had for peanuts.

I have a fairly small GameCube collection, but what I have is about all I want:
Eternal Darkness Legend of Zelda Collectors Edition Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (with left-handed Link) Mario Golf Toadstool Tour Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door Resident Evil 2 Resident Evil 4 Skies of Arcadia Legends Soul Calibur II Super Smash Bros Melee
The only game I'm still looking for is Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. And if I didn't already have it on the Dreamcast, I'd pick up Ikaruga as well.
