Hi,
After removing a broken headphone jack I get no audio from the speaker, I assume I have to bridge some pads for the removed headphone jack?...does anyone know which need to be jumped together?

If you still have the jack you can use the continuity function of the multimeter to work that out, but I don't know off the top of my head. Are you sure it was the jack that was faulty?

Yes I moved the faulty jack to another TE and the no audio from speaker moved to the unit I placed the faulty jack in, the former no audio out unit now works with the swapped jack. Are there known compatible replacement jacks?

The Game Gear headphone jack looks slightly different but I saw on Twitter where Leon Kiriliuk salvaged the switch portion and attached it to the original Turbo Express / PC Engine GT headphone jack. Yes, they do come apart. If you look closely you can see that the switch is just clipped onto the jack, adding three extra pins. The whole assembly (jack and switch) iss available on Console5: console5.com/store/game-gear-replacement-headphone-jack.htmlBiggest difference I see is the metal ring around the opening so it's possible the whole thing works as a drop-in replacement. Also modders who consolize Game Gears you might be able to salvage the switch or jack though Console5 is so cheap I would just try that first.
