SeymourOnion's were the best. I don't know if he's gotten misc sorted out and is back in business.

Buy some wallets. Take out the picture sleeves. Cut with scissors to desired width.
It's what I did when I was a kid. lmao XD

Wallet pockets peel paint from things, so be careful with that route

Some guys on Twitter are discovering that the original plastic sleeves that came with HuCard games are also now peeling off the card labels.
They're turning to gum now, folks; time to check your HuCard collection!

They're turning to gum now, folks; time to check your HuCard collection! The worst combination is Games Express; the paint is a little different (and fragile) from the regular HuCards, but the sleeves are also a little different. I recently re-extracted all my HuCards, and I can confirm that many of the sleeves are becoming kind of slimy/oily (without actually causing grease stains in the manuals... yet). The ones that have held up the best are the textured ones which came out at some point. Dave

Yeah my sealed Blazing Lazers which I bought from some euro guy (probably a Euro turbo pack-in) got the oily sleeve, same with my sealed copy of Falcon. Thankfully no damage was done to them and the sleeves got thrown into the garbage.
Yet another advantage of having games on cards

This sucks I have a few sealed PCEngine games. Time to open them up and get some ultrapro sleeves. Will this happen with modern replacement hucard sleeves? I remember getting a 25 pack off of either eBay or some site a few years back.

It'll probably eventually happen to any silicone or rubber sleeves.

Yeah original sleeves are going bad, noticed a few were starting to stick/bond to the card last year, so took all my cards out of em.

I have noticed a few originals that are sticky, but I've never seen/heard of any labels being damaged from original sleeves before. Thanks for the heads up. Time to go through the Hucards.

Went through my Hucards on the weekend and found 5 (of about 60) with a bit of stickiness to them. They were all the original style and not the textured later ones...
