I'm sure most heard by now,cv sotn and rondo of blood coming to PS4.It came out when a rating was found for these games through south korea. Now that it is officially announced more people get to play rondo,if they missed it out on the psp or wii vc. Still have copies for both games but i may buy this to show my support.

The release does say it's a "PS4 exclusive". Of course, it could be a timed exclusive, but whatever. Either way, I'm buying it. If you're a PS+ member you get $4 if you preorder. $3 off if you're not a member.

*ahem* or PC Engine I know i have a copy to but given how it's become pricey for a original copy,i'm just saying.Given how it was on other system it was the cheaper alternatives.I also, forgot to mention past tense for the wii vc release since you can no longer add points and it shutdowns next year.

I hadn’t read Sony was bankrolling it. Too bad. Got a source I can refer to for more info?

I rather see a 4k remaster on the pc though I'm sure I'll get a lot of flack for wishful thinking.

I saw games like Resident Evil 4 being exclusive to a specific console for just a limited time, before being ported to other consoles.
Symphony of the Night is also available on Xbox 360 Live Arcade. The emulation, done by Digital Eclipse, isn't perfect, since the pixel scaling is a bit off, and it is missing FMV cutscenes due to Microsoft's storage space limitations of early XBLA releases. But it is good enough to be playable and enjoyable, at least it was for me back in 2011.
I've already got Rondo on the Wii VC. Perfect emulation so far as I can see. The spoken opening narration has been altered from an amateurish sounding dub by Hans Günther Claude (PCE) to a professionally made one by Klaus-Dieter Klebsch (Wii VC and PSP). I'm fine with that. The rest of the spoken dialogue remains in Japanese.
Four years ago, I got my hands on both Symphony of the Night as well as Castlevania Chronicles on the PS1. Both are NTSC-US, since I neglect PAL releases for PS1 due to technical drawbacks (5/6 speed, squished screen through horizontal borders) of the conversions, which were unfortunately quite common for PS1 and early PS2 era releases in PAL territories.
I would like to see distributors bringing back Castlevania Chronicles. The PS1 game disc includes both the X68000 original game, as well as the port remade for PS1, featuring altered graphics and soundtrack. The US release is the definitive version of that game, since it doesn't suffer from the Japanese version's audio issues. You can even choose between different audio architectures for the X68000 version.

Maybe I should get the NTSC-U SOTN

I did find a number of articles on-line explaining that Sony is "supporting" Konami in this port and that's why it's exclusive, so I guess that's the most specific things are going to get for a while. I do hope that this is an exclusive window, though, and that other platforms can get a crack at it maybe next year.
