Now we all know that the PCE Bible forums have slightly more strict rules in regards to offensive language and/or being hurtful to others. BUT.. Do you think it's possible to make insults/roast members here and stay within the rules set by Paul? Do you think it's worth even trying in tongue and cheek? Will we have people Self deleting and/or getting banned here? - Be civil and courteous to other members at all time.
- Name calling, spamming, trolling, hostile behaviour and intentional baiting is not allowed.
- Sexism, racism and homophobia are forbidden.
- Do not post explicit, harmful or illegal material, or links to said material.
- While heated discussions and arguments are going to happen, do not resort to mud slinging or insults.I kind of doubt it, but here are Paul's forum ettiquette rules relisted for those worried: Also, I'll start. " This forum member started off his career in the community by spamming his tool assisted gameplay videos. He regularly hides in his parents attic holding a B.B. gun pointed out of windows in hopes of finally plucking off a passerby female. His dream is to finally get laid and stop being such a forum troll, because that's all he'll need to do to fix his behavior. #14Days
Who am I? "
Now try to guess who I'm talking about....

That said, it's probably a slippery slope. And there are other places to talk smack about people (Discord, Facebook)

I found that quite funny and I'll read this thread if it's allowed but I'll not be taking part in it as I don't want to offend anyone.

DarkKobold That said, it's probably a slippery slope. And there are other places to talk smack about people (Discord, Facebook) Wrong, it's DickFaceTAS. It took a lot to earn that title.
I guess, given the demise of PCEFX, I should also come clean about my "professional photography career."
Those photos, posted to PCEFX repeatedly? They were never me. The countless "memes" Nightwolve made about his rather pretentious/suicidal photos were rather funny, because he was ragging on a completely different person.
It came about when the first fighting street thread about me was created. JibbaJabba went searching for personal information, and ProfProf latched on to that idea. PP posted a strange photo to that thread, a guy in his attic with BB gun. So, I reverse image searched it. Turned out it was a guy with the same name as me... spelled differently. Like, PP couldn't even be bothered to notice that Google autocorrects my name to a more common spelling. So, seeing the opportunity to throw a rather creepy internet stalker off my scent, I said "Hah, so you found a picture of me, so what?"
And that led to years of laughs when his pretentious photos were posted to mock me. In fact, one member of Duophile went so far as to contact this semi-famous photographer, and was in the middle of setting up a photoshoot with a Turbografx... until he spilled the beans as to why he wanted said photoshoot. The photographer stopped responding.

Let us not engage in internet stalking, here. That stuff is real trouble.

Nope, this ain't happening, sorry. Meaning, the idea of a "roasting" thread or the internet stalking? lol - I don't believe any bad intentions were brought up or even any rules broken.

S'OK, I know there were no bad intentions intended.
Roasting is edge of the knife stuff, especially without the subtleties that are lost in text. It only takes one comment misread to turn the whole thing into Fighting Street vol 2, particularly if the target of the comments doesn't share the same sense of humour.

I hope I didn't seem like I was encouraging cyberstalking, I was just recounting the interesting events around the attempted cyberstalking aimed at me.

No, just opining in general that I don't want that kind of behavior that was acceptable over there to migrate over here.
