I've started to track all my stuff via Skynet drive now, but I'm kind of concerned at the moment with getting the "missing" parts of my collection.
My goal is to have the best games on every system*, and maybe one day I'll own *every* PC Engine game. So I understand "best" is entirely subjective, but for me, it's just every game I might concievably want to play. Sometimes I hear of some hidden gems I'll want to add, but for the most part I'm quite happy, and PC Engine excepted, there's probably less than 50 games I still want to aquire.
There's also the fact that I almost exclusively collect PAL, apart from PC Engine and Saturn, and in some cases where games were never released here, or if it's something that is just much, much cheaper in another region (I got Gunner's Heaven for £15, where Rapid Reload was closer to £200) The more I care about a system, the more I tend to care about the provence of the games.
And then there's boxes. For the most part, I'm not interested in cardboard, though I do own a few. But stuff that came in a plastic case, I tend to be more strict about completeness. I'm also a nostalgia retard sometimes, which is why I kept my partially melted Shinobi Huey from the 90's, and transplanted it into a fresh case before selling the mint huey on. And also, depending on how much I love the system is how much I strive for boxed hardware.
I'm half tempted to list my collection and get opinons on the stuff I'm "missing", but then again, I might wait a year until I have the chance to pick up some more.
*probably up to and including PS2
