Hello guys o/ After participating to the SMSPower competition 2024, I decided to make some ports of my game, so here is a TG16 version available on my itch.io page boosted by HuC!! lunoka.itch.io/mai-nurseCode, pixelart, music & illustration work by myself, enjoy!

That's awesome! May I make a single suggestion? The cyan and magenta don't have enough contrast and some folks with color blindness may have trouble with them, especially since the shape/details of the viruses are also fairly similar for those two? I think some additional differentiation, like greater color contrast and some additional shape differentiation would make a HUGE difference.

Fun little Dr Mario! Medium felt a bit too slow for me, but that's what fast is for.
You can count me in on the "I'd buy this on hucard if you could get someone to make it" club.

And thank you for willing to buy a copy I only know one shop actually that provides hucards, RetroStage, and it's out of stock. Since I would need also to buy the flasher, it's more likely to get at least 5 orders to take in consideration a physical release. Hucards there cost 26 dollars each, so far I have no clue about where getting a crystal case with the hucard holder, maybe I should consider a custom cartoon box but I assume people would prefer the original package. Let me know what you think about it!

RetroStage would be preferable for Analogue Duo owners as those fit/work better than the guinea pig/turbo reproduction ones.

Oh, what issues are there for the Guinea Pig ones ? I heard a rumour that PCEWorks was using Jodi/Turbo Reproductions ones, and there was something about replacement labels being needed for those - although I can't be certain that this is where PCEWorks got theirs from.
But I hadn't heard anything about the Guinea Pig ones.
But assuming that the label is the issue, I would suspect RetroStage to be more sensitive, based on the position of the label on the card...

I think they just don't fit properly. John Riggs talked about it in a video.
He had no issues with the turbo blaster ones.
I'll have to ask Tobias about where he gets his hucards, but I've had no issues with dino force.

It would be interesting to get a second data point - the Analogue slot is reported as being super tight at first - even with official cards, so it's not clear whether this is related more to the card or the slot until it can be corroborated.

But it's understandable that he had trouble, the end isn't beveled like a normal hucard. Majors said he took a file to his Guinea Pig Games card so it would fit better. But they fit fine normally too.
Retro stage's cards look really great but they're pretty expensive. You could get a GPG card for less than half the cost. They're who I used for Strife Sisters.
Edit: Forgot to mention that GPG will also flash your game for you, so you don't need to buy a programmer if you don't want. You can just order pre-flashed cards with your game on it.

I have several games from Turbo Reproductions & they all fit & work fine. Only game that might be too thick that I'm aware of is Aetherbytes Atlantean. It seems like it fits, but it's definitely tight and I have yet to get the game working.
And then my Strife Sisters from GPG also works just fine.
Checked out Dino Force next to Strife Sisters from GNG & Near Arcade Gradius thru TR. I don't think PCEWorks got theirs made by either, they must have someone completely different doing their stuff. Both the GPG card and the TR card are virtually identical including how much they weigh. Dino Force is slightly less thicker and ways closer to or identical to an original Hucard.
I just confirmed with Jodi of Turbo Reproductions. He hasn't had anyone complain to him about any of his stuff. He said his earlier stuff from back in 2016 might have problems, but nothing that he currently does.
