Hi,
I've just recently picked up this obscure fighting game in a large lot of Japanese games and was curious what others think about it?
I've done some research and apparently it may have started out life as an RPG?
As it is, it seems like a decent little fighter but is very rough around the edges- there doesn't seem to be any semblance of game balance at all.
Can I ask what your thoughts are?
Also, is it possible there is a tierlist of some sort out there for this game? (I'd imagine it'd be wild...).
Cheers

I like the character design but it's a bummer how choppy/little frames of animation there is for each character. Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't each stage have the exact same music track? I thought that was dumb.

Cheers Yeah, some interesting designs. I think the game is going for an Eternal Champions or Time Killers vibe by giving you various characters from around the world and different time periods. You are right about the single track for all of the fights except the boss. Also about that boss...I've never seen such a strange and obtuse final boss for a fighting game. It sort of reinforces the rumour that the fighting elements of this game were originally intended to be part of a much bigger game, possibly an RPG? I'd definitely like to get your thoughts on the character balance. There seems to be a massive gap between them all.

The twitchy character movement (not animation) is something I'm not understanding well. It's like the jump and movement algorithms are jittery or something.

It does feel a bit sloppy, either the game was rushed or pretty much released unfinished, that's the way it feels anyway.
