I need to watch both carefully before I can vote, and with headphones too! I love these comparisons!

While I appreciate that the Mega Drive has hugely improved bonus level (the graphics are fantastic) and some of the table art is better than the PC Engine version, there are a couple of things I can't get past:
1. The background tiles on the main table are horrid on the MD, far too contrasty. 2. The crappy speech cuts out the music. There's no excuse for that.
The Mega Drive music is really good, but I just feel the rawness of the PCE music suits the game more.

PCE definitely is less rough around the edges, but I feel the genny is better since it has a final boss.

The original by far. Sega one may have that sick looking extra bonus stage that resembles an early 90s death metal album cover but the PCE one has the better sounding soundtrack. Those loud PCM drums and baseline make a huge difference. Plus graphics are more colorful.

I think the MD version is better all around. Kill me.

The Genny version came out years later. By the time it had finally been released most were interested in spending a cold $50 on newer games, rather than ports of older games. It's just science.
Had it been 'remastered' in a similar fashion later on the Turbo edition would've been ... prettier too.
Turbo came first, and the upgrades aren't exactly mind blowing on the Genny. My vote. TURBOB!!!

Great game in general. I prefer the TG version probably for nostalgia alone. But I'd not kick either version out of bed.
