So I got a super cheap PCE mini and plugged it in only to find out the controller didn't work. Looking online I see that it's a design fault with the console where it will blow the USB controller if you feed it too many amps because apparently it's not regulated properly.
I've just started looking into this, but I thought I'd see if anyone here was aware of the issue and knew anything, or had a fix. I'm thinking I can replace the usb controller easily enough, but the fault will remain

They were discussing this on the discord for the hack. Maybe you can ask there?

I believe it was the ModMyClassic one. discord.com/invite/8gygsrwI'm not joined anymore, as I don't believe the hack is coming out, but I remember this issue coming up. Not sure if someone actually fixed one. Obviously you would need to know how to solder, but I'm guessing you know how to do that.
