Couldn't find a dedicated page on their site for it. Their twitter seems to have the most info. mobile.twitter.com/terraonionIt somehow adds in an fpga with the extra gpu and ram without replacing the stock PCE hardware. Custom palettes are available and it outputs both hdmi and RGB. The in-game trigger button is now on the unit to sidestep the bug. microUSB port for devs and open source cores. youtu.be/kJhH_fPaVSQ

Well that sounds kinda cool. I wonder how they make it all work.

It won't let me edit my post anymore. :/
The hdmi and (new) RGB output is taken from the PCE's digital source (same as the UpperGrafx?).
There is also a new in-game trigger written for RUN + SELECT that is supposed to work without issue.
You can drag and drop console fpga core onto the sdcard. An NES core will be ready at launch.

I'm trying to figure out how it managed to pretend to be a SuperGrafx in concert with the existing PCE hardware, unless it just does all the work and just uses the PCE to read the cart, turning the PCE itself into a glorified cart reader.

From their twitter feed:
"For SuperGrafx, we are just adding the 2nd video chip, not an entire fpga sytem core. So SuperGrafx CD is possible (but untested)."

If the SSDS3 had been out when I got my Duo, I probably would have gone that route. And now I have a MiSTer setup, which so far has been so fantastic that I admit to neglecting my Duo at this point. I'm sure this will be a quality piece of kit, though.

Looks like it was good I waited on the first version, I'll check the reviews when this new version ships.

I went ahead and ordered one. The PSG audio level adjustment (in relation to CDDA audio) and the custom mappable palettes totally sold me. Everything else is just bonus. I don't need it for SGX, but it's pretty nice that capability is there.

I have recently started considering getting one of these so I can stop moving my TED between my coregrafx express and duo probably destroying the pin connectors. Are you able to push code to the system via usb like you can with a usb ted and turbo-usb2? I am finding myself using that constantly now

That video is what made me curious, they do not talk about using usb to transfer data back and fourth very much so I was hoping a developer could speak to it's functionality. turbo-usb2 is amazing, but with the limited amount of usb teds out there it's not exactly a convenient option

Overall, I love it (especially the video output). But CD core is still a work in progress - I'd say 98% work but some have glitches for some reason (you also need to use the 'alt CD core' too). It doesn't seem to be as mature as the older SSDS3, but I mean the author is aware and is actively working on it which is nice. I did ask the author about the usb port and they did confirm yes you can use it for that, I just haven't had the time to investigate using it yet.
