nintendowire.com/news/2019/08/06/hal-laboratory-working-on-necs-pc-8001-mini/The hardware is being developed by HAL Laboratory, who are mostly known for the Kirby and Super Smash Bros. series, but back in their earlier days they’ve developed numerous titles on the PC-8001, MSX, and more. This isn’t the first mini hardware made by HAL Laboratory, as they also did the “PasocomMini MZ-80C” which released in May 2017, making it the second one under NEC PC in two years. Unfortunately, if you were hoping to get your hands on the system you’ll have a hard time, as it seems the company is planning a limited run, with 500 being bundled with a Premium Laptop bundle and others being given away via a raffle available only to those who’ve purchased a LAVIE series PC by NEC.

I don't know how interested I would be in this, but an MSX Mini or an FM Towns Mini would definitely get my attention.
