But yeah about that Shenmue HD. The most wise move Sega has ever done in years. I personally never played the original versions back in the day so im super hyped. Now if only theyll prove Shenmue III won't be another Duke Nukem Forever.
I have both on dreamcast and played them through multiple times. I think I’m in the minority when I say I could do without the fork lift job. I feel it pads out too much. Ryo needs a different job, or maybe at least one or two different roles in the harbour like a crane operator or something. Also, apart from the obviously outdated textures these games still look pretty good. That said of course I will buy this as soon as it comes out.
Still have my copies of shenmue 1&2 for my dreamcast. It's fine though there giving both games the hd treatment,it just gives more people a chance to play them since part three is coming.Still i don't get why sega is letting atgames make the mdmini. There last clone the genesis flashback turn out to be junk i guess sega never watched or read the reviews on it
More likely it's a steady stream of income and Sega doesn't have any other partners lined up to do this with. Sega isn't in the hardware business anymore, which means they can't really do this in-house. They have to have a partner to handle the hardware side, and while AtGames may not be very good, they at least have some experience and are capable of delivering a product, even if it isn't a great one.
