Hey all. I hope you are doing well. In my free time since last November, I've been programming up a Game Boy emulator for the SGX/PCE. A crazy idea, I know, but now here is the first release.
Please play around with it, don't take it too seriously or expect much in speed/accuracy terms, and I hope you find it interesting.
And I made a YouTube video (mostly for the people that have no clue what a PC-Engine is in the first place, and always ask for a video when I release a PCE ROM. ;-) ):

Really neat! Considering the achitecture of the CPUs of the two systems are so different, unlike running Famicom games on the PCE, the GB's CPU has to be emulated. BY.A. 6502Hu6280, which I guess is something really difficult to be in acceptable speed. From the video it seems to be quite slow at the moment though. Hope more optimisation can be done in the future (I haven't read the technical details from the page yet, but will).

Dopeness! Any chance as this project progresses, that it could get to the point of being able to improve the games(add color, more sprites/paralax, enhance musuc, replace music with redbook, etc.) I'm assuming not, but you tell me.

The point of emulators is to replicate an older console, arcade board or home computer's hardware as accurately as possible...very few improve the graphics quality, the only one I even know is Mesen with its HD Packs. But if you're expecting the PC Engine CD/Supergrafx to pull off such a feat, this dream will be short-lived. I think the PC-FX would be more suitable to such a thing

That's really cool Chris, neat and another one for the "because it can be done" books.

Was this emulator name after E. Honda's most fun vocalization? Cause it's "Hoo Boy" not "Hyuu Boy," right?
