So, I've been struck by Mickey Mania nostalgia (The soul-crushingly hard PS1 version, to be more precise). After watching a video comparing all of the ports I thought: "But...what if it was released on PC Engine too?". The console still sold relatively well in Japan up to the mid 90s, and Mickey Mania was released in 1994, so they could've made it JAP-only. The CD add-on might've been used for recycling the Sega CD/PS1 soundtrack and Mickey's one liners -As I feel the sound chip is not really suited for Matt Furniss' compositions, unless you throw one of those PCM trackers in-. I'm not sure about the graphics, but it sure as hell would beat both Sega versions in the color department, and the arcade card would really help with the fluid animations. Sorry for my rambling, haha...what's your opinion on this?

Talking about Disney, the license fee could be huge, and that the TG16 western market was nonexistent, so it's not an economically sound decision to release a Disney game only in Japan without any western TG16 version. That said, most of the TG16 games using western IPs were not released in Japan anyway (Camp California, Addams Family, etc.) and I think none (if not it'd only be a few) of the TG16 games with a Disney IP was released in Japan either (though it's probably due to their quality).

Some NES Disney-licensed games were...uhh, shit too (I'm talking about you, Mickey Mousecapade and Tailspin)

I liked Mickey Mousecapade when I was 7 years old. I could never get past the ocean wave stage.
I'd like to see a Turbo version of Quackshot or Maui Mallard.
