I only have the interface unit and tested this with both arcade pro card and super system card. I don't know if this affects Duo's etc

The back of the cd case on the lower right (in kanji) says “masterpiece limited edition”.
I suspect that the inner ring might have a difference, but I can’t read any suffix numbers on the statndard obi, after the ICCD3004. Can you transcribe those here ?

I'm going to give it a replay again at some point because around the time the game was crashing my interface CD-rom unit was acting up and so I sent it of to Keith for repair but he couldn't find anything wrong with it and then I bought another Interface unit from him but haven't tested this game out since then since my last save file was on the old unit... CD game that comes with the standard obi

so started to give it another play from the beginning and with the standard release the game ran fine uptil my very first dungeon and boss fight then just after I beat the boss and we escaped by being caught by the villagers the game crashed which never happened on the original play.
In my original play I managed to reach some sage who was looking through some kind of crystal mirror ? and just when that splintered and the main protagonists appeared it would crash in that spot.

So... does this imply that they're the same ? or different ? I guess they are the same disc. Strange everything seems to work fine now. When I first played the disc over a year ago the game kept crashing at a certain spot in the story very early on. I would continuous clean the disc and reload the save file every time the game would crash and it was always in this same spot. But I couldn't see any marks on the disc that could cause the game to crash and so I began looking on eBay auctions to get other copies because I wondered whether the disc had some kind of defect I couldn't see and again, when continuing from the save file I would get the same crash at the same spot even with other copies. But that was on the old interface unit that's now been replaced along with a new power supply and now these issues are no more EDIT I've been wondering all this time whether the gold obi strip release was some kind of update that fixed what I thought was a game bug but now I guess it isn't? ah well some OMAKE stuff

Some of the games released on the system simply had bugs. It would not surprise me if Sol Moonarge was one of them. And many of the bugs could seem random, and not e reproducible.
