From the "about" section, it reads: 同志の皆さん、昔を懐かしんでいただければ幸いです。チャンネル登録お願いします
Google tells me that translate to "Comrades, I hope you will miss the old days. Please subscribe to the channel"
Have we found Esteban's long lost Japanese brother?

I've subbed their channel but the Parodius video is a little disappointing because the pc engine version their video makes it seems like the pce game runs at 30fps when it does run at 60fps and I can't help but feel it's running on emulator rather than the real thing...

I hadn't really noticed that in detail, but they definitely have some videos with vertical stretch on the PCE. If the PCE port is clipped, it doesn't really make sense to stretch it to match the arcade version especially when it distorts it too much. But as far as content in near realtime, it's pretty nice to see them side by side.

But they might not be aware of that and just stretched them. I like how many videos are edited to focus on actually comparing how they look and run, instead of two random clips playing out of sync. The Gradius II and Parodius videos do a good job of showing how much less slowdown there is in the PCE versions. Even with the Gardius II co parison using laser on arcade and ripple on PCE, the PCE version still runs much better with way more onscreen.
