As the year winds down it’s important at my house to have the right games hooked up.
Currently the GameCube is out for the first time in a while. Luigi’s Mansion will be fun for all of October. I will add to that the Duo so that Dracula X will be out as well (Sadly I don’t have Ghost Manor).
When November comes I’ll change to Saturn and Dreamcast, mainly for Christmas NiGHTS and Santa Claus developed Astra Super Stars but I often associate Sakura Wars with Xmas so I’ll probably end up playing that also.

Been playing the worst game of 2021, Balan Wonderworld. Infact, I look forward to playing each day. Yes, it has things that suck about it. When I bought it, I got it super cheap, plus 30% off. Didn't know anything about it, but thought it looked ok. It wasn't until I started playing it, that my buddy saw me online playing it, and wondered if I was being held hostage at gunpoint.
I think the main problem is, that it got too much hype, and then once people played it, the various downsides overwhelmed people's view of what they expected to be the greatest game since sliced bread.

Not one of yuji naka finest either.Though months ago he filed a lawsuit towards sqaurenix stating he wasn't given the time to make, balan wounderworld and the game was rushed out.Who knows if he was making excuses or if it was all sqaurenix fault.

Who knows what the truth is. I just find it fascinating what hype and popular opinion can do to alter how people view a game or a movie or whatever. For example, I heard all kinds of great things about Thor four but when I finally saw it I thought it was just okay. I really think that hearing that it was the best thing and was hilarious altered my viewpoint to make me think that it was meh once I saw it. I'm more determined than ever to be careful not only what I say to other people about certain games or movies or TV shows but also to be careful of what I hear, what I see and reviews and such so I don't already form an opinion and then get let down.

Currently Transformers Rise of the Dark Spark on my PS5. The animation stutters every now and then so I'm assuming it's the fact that I'm playing it on the PS5 since it gives me a warning when I booted up that it may not work totally correctly. Man this is a short game, but it's fun enough. Now I'm just trying to collect whatever reasonable trophies I can get to get whatever replay value I can out of it.

Lately I’ve been playing Clubhouse Games and Pocky and Rocky on Switch.
Clubhouse is a crazy good deal. Soooo many games of various depths to play whenever. It has super basic stuff like Connect Four and 21 but also super deep stuff like Shogi and Riichi Mahjong. This is for sure one of the best ways for gaijin to learn Riichi mahjong.
Pocky and Rocky Reshrined is pretty great too. It’s based on the SNES version and heavily reworked but still looks more or less like the already extremely nice SNES game, it’s just wider, zoomed out more, etc. It has little to no post-SNES graphical effects and such in what I’ve played so far.

Ugg often for any transformers video game based on the bay-verse is often a wreck.Last time there was a really good transformer video game was tf devastation beside it being g1 based. As far as the Bayverse movies go, I generally hate them all. So much so that I still haven't seen Bumblebee despite plenty of people telling me Bay had no involvement and it being a good movie. I finally just picked it up for 5 bucks on ebay. Maybe partially due to my hopes that ROTB will be decent. Though I did hear there's the possibility of his involvement in it, I hope not. As far as the Bay games, I'd say they're better than watching the movies. Probably the very first console Bay game is the most blah as well as frustrating. ROTF is probably the best of the Bay bunch. Turns out, that most of Rise of the Dark Spark is connected to WfC and FoC thankfully. Though it's nowhere near as good, not even by the same devs as I believe they closed doors. Yeah, Devastation is more of a love letter to G1. I could stand for them making a sequel or 3, especially while some of the OG actors are still around! In theory, I'd like to beat every unique TF game made for console and portable, though I know that won't happen, at least in regards to Mystery of Comvoy and Headmasters. Also, the first PS1 BW game is stupidly hard, and I recall BW Transmittals N64 game also being far more difficult a game compared to the PS1 game. Dont know if I'll bother getting around to BW2 on FB. I've played it a bit, but meh. I did beat the Armada game, but never got around to Tatakai. However, I do conveniently have it still ripped on my PS2 HDD if I ever decide to try to play it and beat it. If I'm remembering right, it's either mostly or completely in english. At the very least I recall that for some strange reason all the characters go by their North American names rather than their Japanese names. I have TF Animated on DS, and I think it's supposed to be a decent game but I haven't gotten around to beating it or even picking up my DS in ages. Plus, I think it might be a bootleg so for all I know it no longer even works and I would have to pick up an original assuming that it's a decent price. Then there's prime for the Wii U, I'm not sure if it's supposed to be decent or not. I just know I got it and a Wii U really really cheap for the few games that I actually wanted to play on it. That's everything with the exception of I think one PSP game and 2 DS games based on the very first Bay movie. Somebody told me that the PSP game is kind of fun. I haven't looked into the DS ones to see if there's any remote entertainment value.

Seen, bumblebee when it was in theaters and i have it on bluray it was a pleasant surprise nothing outstanding but better then other bayverse movies.Still i wish tf fall of cybertron got a proper sequel if only highmoon studio's wasn't busy with the dead pool game at the time.By the way the next 3d transformers video game was announced last year tf reactivate.Still it's just a teaser for how it will play who knows.
