Just 1CC'd Cannon Dancer (aka Osman).
I don't think you could make a game like this if you tried. When playing it, you get the sense that it's incomplete, as if they implemented only half of the ideas that they had when they conceived it. Yet ironically, it's this incompleteness that gives the final product its distinctly dream-like quality, which blends wonderfully with the already stylish graphical design. The game itself is not too short or otherwise disjointed or unbalanced, either.
Although I wouldn't give it a perfect score, it was a very satisfying clear, and I'd like to keep getting better at it.

Just beat River City girls and Iconoclasts. Had fun with River City girls, not so much with Iconoclasts. it's not terrible, but I know there's no way I'll ever play ever again so I sold it on eBay.
Mike play the Uncharted HD trilogy on PS4 next leading up to the upcoming Mega Man collection that I'm excited about.

I agree completely. As with Strider, the jankiness only enhances the overall vibe.

Beat Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night on Switch. Loved it, despite LOTS of problems, some technical, some artistic, and some core game design. Now getting completely absorbed by Stardew Valley. There is a distinct lack of farming simulators on PC Engine. I wonder what they would have been like?

I agree completely. As with Strider, the jankiness only enhances the overall vibe. I think I know what you mean, but the word janky always meant to me something like low quality, maybe with a little awkward charm. That's not quite how I'd describe Osman to someone who has never seen it. A few rough edges aside, it's a high quality package. As for the incompleteness of it, Osman isn't annoying, like a book with chapters torn out or a movie with scenes missing. It's more like you've come upon a few fragments of an old picture, and you're trying to figure out what it means. It's very mysterious, in a way that comes back to you when you're not playing it. I almost regret looking up a synopsis of the story online, as I was kind of enjoying not fully understanding it, if that makes any sense.

Osman doesn't feel janky to me, but Strider does, just a little.

From what little I've played of Osman it's definitely a quality title. With so many obscure arcade games seeing release on Switch and PS4 we'll hopefully see its long deserved arrival there in the near future.

Osman doesn't feel janky to me, but Strider does, just a little. One time I was playing Strider for Genesis (very early on, I rented it even) and when I got to that big robot gorilla boss, right when I walked into the room, he just exploded and died. I don’t think I hit him even once. I just kept on walking, lucky me I guess. That kind of “jank” is also in Osman but maybe not so hilarious. Nobody on Earth thinks Osman is low quality. It’s amazing and clearly people worked their asses off on it and it was the directors dream. If we could get one game this year as mind blowing as Osman was when I first played it I’d gladly go with no other games for the rest of the year. It’s got more style than anything and it makes the player feel like a badass. By janky I just meant it was like a cart with one weird wheel, they weren’t quite able to achieve everything they wanted to but sometimes this is good. Stuff that runs Mario smooth can be extremely boring. Osman has so many nooks and crannies you always feel like there is something amazing to come. The art in particular is just amazing.

Besides playing uncharted right now on PS4, I'm also fiddling around with Hue. Problem is, I'm not very good at puzzles. So I'm getting a bit frustrated. Otherwise I think it's kind of a cool game.

I'm playing the Uncharted Collection as well. I'm finally up to the third game in this series as I missed out on it during the PS3 years.
Edit: Playing the Bioshock Collection on PS4. Seeing these games running on the Pro is amazing. I've never played any others besides the first one so this is a real treat.

Mainly been playing Shakedown Hawaii in Vita. Picked up the Mega Man Zero/ZX collection for PS4, I feel like they did a really good job of transporting these portable games over to us console.

I beat Shakedown Hawaii. Really fun game but not as good as Retro City Rampage.

I was hoping I'd be playing some Turbo games on my Mini system this month Hopefully you can still play some Turbo...the Mini is not the only option. 2013 Tomb Raider was free on Steam last Sunday...guess I'll mess with it. Good thing about 5-10 year old PC games is that my aging PC can actually run them decent! Plus one for keeping it "retro" (and poverty PC master race)
