Is the only way to buy the game thru a Kickstarter? Money is getting tight for me but I definitely want this!

There are enemies, but few compared to the size of the levels. The main 'feel' of the game is exploration, rather than combat. The boss fights should be interesting enough combat, hopefully. Is it linear or Metroidvanish? What's the main challenge, the swinging, dodging?

It's definitely more metroidvania-ish. There's definitely the chance to get lost if you forget where keys you see but can't yet reach are. I've been considering adding that to the in-game map, but there's a limit to what's too much 'hand-holding' for a Metroidvania.
I'd say rope swings are around 30% of the challenge. It's mostly platforming and exploration, with boss fights mixed in.

Just a suggestion
Maybe the blocks would look a little less jaggy if you could see the sides of the walls like in some old ms dos games?

What is the best time to start the hype for this? When the KS has launched? Or are you going to post small bits of information on the facebook page to get people excited beforehand?

Is the pce demo with music and voice overs? If so I didn't include the cue file to the image which wasn't possible in Disc utility. Burnt it on a Mac. If the demo is without music, I will get the CD-R out of the trash. If it is, I'll just try it on Windows with ImgBurn.

Yeah - you need to burn the .cue file, not the .iso - In retrospect, I probably should have named the ISO file something that wouldn't also burn as a file format. I'm surprised the .iso plays without, since I thought all PCE needed a CD Audio lead-in track. Sorry

Cool, no problem, was still fun to play a bit with it even without music and chose to back it!
