So can you not read a paperback or a coin or a watch? Do you need a magnifying glass to read money or a stamp? Is the goofy touch bar on the new MacBooks just a shiny black strip? Do you have to ask someone else what capacity is written on your Micro SD cards? Printed texts on books are rarely this small and I am an editor for printed books. For fine texts on coins and the like I can of course read them but they're not like playing a computer RPG where you are reading passages of texts (and stats) for an extended period of time. For touch bar on Macbooks... sorry I don't even know what that is as Apple products after Apple ][s are just unusable. Micro SDs are just the same as the coin example. You don't need to read a lot of text to identify what they are, especially since after you put one inside a device you probably never change it afterwards anyway.

I don't get why people get so upset when others express a dislike of a product. You like it? Good for you. You buy it. Why do you care so hard that someone doesn't?

I don't get what you mean by scaling the pixels up. Do you have hard info on the screen? I was sorta hoping that it would be a custom screen with 1/1 pixel representation. It is Sega, and it is $50 and the bar has been raised considerably for this type of product...I don't know a lot about Gamegear obviously. The GG Micro has a screen resolution of 240×180. The original Game Gear is only 160×144. In order for the image to fill the display it will be scaled up, and not at a clean multiplier. With that tiny a screen it might not be noticeable, but there may also be visible shimmer in motion. We will only know once folks have one in-hand.

Ok so all Macs are unusable...despite the hundreds of movies and albums written edited and produced on them as I write this. Usable to most people and useable to you are clearly not the same thing. We were talking about products here, I didn’t realize it was axe grinding hour. I’ll refrain from using logic on you again since that’s clearly never what you were interested in.

Well, *I* don't get why people get so upset when people get so upset when others express a dislike of a product. How’s that for a retort, philosopher king? If you don’t like the Toyota Yaris because it’s ugly and slow, nobody will argue with you. You can see what it looks like in a picture and you don’t have to drive it if you’ve ever driven a low end Japanese econobox before. If you don’t like the Toyota Yaris because it was made by Nazis and the seats are filled with spider eggs then you are INSANE not just “expressing an option on a product”. When someone says they can’t read 4 point fonts for very long when you know very well they doing it as they type their very arguments against it being possible...that begs comment, and that’s what the argument is about. Nobody here is going to buy one of these stupid things, I hope.

I love the Gameboy Micro, and was able to play through Megaman Zero 4 and Mother 3 without any issues. I still take it with me for quick Advance Wars, Mario vs Donkey Kong, Guru logic champ, etc. sessions. I really think it's one the best portables ever, along with the GBA SP and PSP GO, which are actually pocket-able and true portables.
With that said, even though these GG Micros look cute as all hell, I have no interest, simply because of the poor game list and having absolutely no nostalgia for the original. However, if the screen is anything close to what the GBM provided many moons ago, it should be playable to most people with healthy (even if assisted) eyes.
