And most importantly, bring a PCE-GT and plenty of Hu-Cards! Beats the lame on board entertainment. And enough batteries to get through the flight. Actually, if you bring that many, security might single you out for questioning...

Again, if anyone has experience with traveling in that area or on a plane for that long of time, feel free to comment or drop me a PM. Bring an additional sweater or fleece. It can get cold on flights (depends on the airline, some run their planes quite frigid, others too warm), especially night flights. Get up and walk up and down the length of the plane at times, do some stretches etc. to keep the blood flowing. Although most airlines offer complimentary drinks outside of breakfast/lunch/dinner servings, I find it pleasant to have an extra bottle of water on hand to sip from throughout the flight to keep from dehydrating. Make sure you buy it after you've gone through all security checks at the airport/lounge though, or they'll make you dispose of it before you even get on the plane. And most importantly, bring a PCE-GT and plenty of Hu-Cards! Beats the lame on board entertainment. I'm from the frigid land of Wisco, so my default choice of clothing is warm sweaters/fleece, haah! Thank you for the comments, I will remember to get up and stretch a few times! <3

So hey, I left on March 13 and returned on March 21st. I had an amazing week in southern Japan! I did everything from hiking, biking, running, walking, and checking out the coolest game shops in Fukuoka and Saga City. I loved every second of this trip. It's amazing what the country has to offer, especially since they took this pandemic seriously back in January. When I got there, schools were just going back into session after nearly two months off.
I left before the travel restrictions really kicked in but were starting to be enforced on my trip back. So I was starting to get seriously nervous for my return trip. I was dreading what was waiting for me back in US customs, but they barely even cared. The dude that checked my passport and security heading back in barely even made eye contact. He asked if I had visited China or Italy, to which of course I said no, and he had me read over a document about the COVID19 virus and that I should stay home for the next 14 days. Which once I got back, everyone was doing the self quarantine so it was the new "business as usual"
I took hundreds of pics and videos and plan on making a series of youtube shorts based on some of the coolest places I visited. If I had to rank them it would look like this:
1- Hiking and Biking in furuyu and visiting the onsen to relax 2- Visiting the shrines of Saga City and Saga Castle! <3 3- This crazy tiny retro game store in Fukuoka 4- The food. Enjoying street ramen and trying other amazing japanese foods 5- Hard off/Book Off 6- Mangasouko game/anime store 7- Mandarake game shop 8- and just bumming around Fukuoka by myself for a few days.
