Still gotta be Final Lap Twin for me. Great concept for a game and immediately accessible. EDIT: Isn't Final Lap Twin 1989??

I don't know how that slipped into there. You can't edit polls either which is annoying Nobody vote for Final Lap Twin

I really love the Wonder Boy series, and find Bikuriririrmuoamano super fun, but I had to give the slight edge to Kato & Ken. I mean c'mon, so much fun!! Excellent speedrunning platforming perfection! Wonderu Boieee will get 'em back in a later year!

This list made me realize that Final Lap Twin is actually the very first 16-bit console RPG.

Winner: Final Lap Twin Ready for the 1988 poll. Can't wait to cast my vote for Lords of Thunder! (; Yeah I completely messed up the poll because Final Lap Twin was released in 1989. I should have deleted the thread to hide my shame.

I'm pretty late to the poll, but oh well.
I would have to say Kato-chan & Ken-chan. The game has some pretty good tunes as well as some visually expressive and striking character sprites. It also has great controls and a decent repertoire of moves, none of which feel useless. It's a great game all around.
The Kung Fu is decent. The main tune that plays throughout the levels is really catchy and the sprites are large and very detailed for their time, but the game's controls feel stiff.
Haven't really played the others although Victory Run looks interesting. I don't really care for the other 2 games though.

Was The Kung-Fu known as THE セクハラ at some point in development? Look at how Bruce Lee is unconfortable with Jackie's hand, maybe that's the real reason why he was hit in the head for real when recording Enter the Dragon.
