The PCE Mini turbo controller I had sent to me from Japan on April 22 has arrived.

Nice, I can't wait! When they release it, I wonder if they'll include all the Homebrew. I own all of the physical Homebrew but it'd be nice to play it on my Turbo mini. I don't think there's a way for me to rip any of the Homebrew games if I recall. Hopefully they have a way.

I believe Project Phobos is from the same team who done Bleemsync which is now upgraded to Project Eris on Playstation classic and Project Lunar on Megadrive mini, hence the name using moons names Project Phobos for pc engine mini, i hope they can implement Xinpin support for Pc engine mini as it's really awesome as i can use all Hori Real Arcade Pro Joysticks on Playstation classics on retro arch mode, really nice emulations with 90% support via Mame or even better final burn zero, wonder what magic they can do with pc engine mini

I'm glad to see Konami pull a Sega and translate these interviews.

Unfortunately, it seems they're not doing all of them, but it's better than the nothing I thought we were getting.

Thanks for this. The linking on this site can be tricky but I managed to work around the link This was one of my favourite Toyama While I was developing "Musha Aleste" ("M.U.S.H.A."), there was a Mega Drive (Sega Genesis) game that Masaya released called "Jūsō Kihei Leynos" ("Assault Suit Leynos", hereinafter called "Leynos") which I really liked. "Spriggan Mark 2" was actually Compile's version of "Leynos" ("Assault Suit Leynos"). The audio voices were inspired by Masaya's "Shubibinman" ("Shockman") (*). The fact that Shibibinman could talk sent shockwaves throughout Compile, and I remember that it was because of that they decided to add audio voices to "Gunhed." If "Shubibinman" ("Shockman") hadn't done it, "Gunhed" would probably not have talked either.

I'm not really a shmup guy, so I didn't know what to expect from Soldier Blade going in. But it's fantastic. Definitely one of the games that made me happy to snag a Mini.

So glad they translated these interviews. The ones dealing with Compile, especially. It also looks like they officially confirm that Gunhed has a connection with Star Soldier series (suspected, yeah, but I don't think I remember seeing any interviews confirming it).

How are people accessing these interviews? On my phone and desktop browsers I just get the "select your region" screen. After choosing English it asks for a birth date. After submitting it goers back to the "select your region" screen.
