You "programmer types" (stereotypes FTW!) can sometimes come off a bit blunt. It is something worth keeping in mind, especially given how cold the internet and text on a screen can render otherwise innocuous collections of words. I really think this was just one of those miscommunication situations where one communication style clashed with another, much as is the case between Elmer and Arkhan. Very different personalities with the cold digital gulf between them sometimes grate a bit.
I just want y'all to know I think you're all awesome, even when I disagree with you and think you're a jerk (in the moment, anyway), and when you think I'm a jerk (probably legit deserved). Fragmare, bear not a grudge. You are still very much welcome here.

I'm pretty sure Panic Bomber requires the Japanese 3.0 card as well.

I'm pretty sure Panic Bomber requires the Japanese 3.0 card as well. Thanks for the report! I just checked it ... I think that it's another game that is getting caught by the bug that is currently in Mednafen. I believe that the game itself should work fine on real hardware, and it seems to work fine on my customized build of Mednafen.

Oh, I was talking about real hardware. Meaning it will only work with the JP super system card on a real system.

Could you elaborate on where you see an issue ? I recall playing this a long time ago on my American Duo without using a Japanese card, and without encountering an issue (but I admit I wasn't good enough to progress very far).

Yeah, this was a pretty popular game with gaijin importers back in the day. I can’t remember if I owned it after I ditched my US Duo or after, but I do know of at least one person who played it on a US Duo system on release. I’ve never heard of an issue. I no longer have a US system so I can’t check. Whatever the issue, it must be minor. Font fuckups or a save issue or something.
