I did run into a strange problem on the official OS and TEOS. My game list is no more sorted alphabetical and I have no idea how to restore that. It is the same SD card, I just deleted and copied folders with roms. When on the PC engine now everything is wild mixed instead of alphabetical. That really sucks. Any idea?

Probably need to use one of those FAT32 file sorting apps as i think its based upon the date modified or something, quite a common issue with Everdrives. I have used this one with success.. www.anerty.net/software/file/DriveSort/?lang=enAnother thread with more info... superuser.com/questions/376577/how-to-reorder-the-files-of-a-fat32-file-system

flex, the tool worked fine, thanks for the hint. But that matter is really inconvenient.

Okay that is very odd. I just checked the CRC32 for the rom of Wonder Momo I use. As you can see it is 59D07314. I still get that corrupted Titlescreen I have shown above.

elmer would it be possible to add a sorting option to you OS for such a situation? Err ... nope, that would be slow on the PCE with large directories of ROMs, and use lots of memory. The quick-and-nasty solution has already been pointed out.

okay, so no sorting function for us Well that isnt a big problem. Once the collection is on the SD card not much needs to be changed anyway. But I am still puzzled why this Wonder Momo still shows a corrupted title screen even with the correct dump. I do not care for the game itself but something must be wrong.

Once the collection is on the SD card not much needs to be changed anyway. That is kinda my feeling ... most folks just copy their collection of games once and then never need to change it. Once the collection is on the SD card not much needs to be changed anyway. But I am still puzzled why this Wonder Momo still shows a corrupted title screen even with the correct dump. I do not care for the game itself but something must be wrong. Are you using an old CRT, or a modern LCD TV? Any upscaler involved? From the messed-up image that Mednafen produces, which seems similar to what you're seeing, I am going to guess that Wonder Momo does something horrible to the TV signal that old analog CRT tech can just-about handle, but that modern TVs (which expect a clean NTSC-compliant signal) just can't deal with.

Can you list all of the components of your system ? For example: Japanese or US system ? Or PAL TurboGrafx ? Which specific device, released in what region ? Any peripherals attached, such as CDROM unit or 3rd-party device such as UperGrafx ? Are you using composite video ? RGB ? If RGB, how is the RGB generated ? Was there a modification done to your system ? (internal RGB, region modification, etc.)
It seems that there is something unique going on in your setup, as several others among us don't see a problem.

thanks to dshadoff s question about the components I am using, I was able to track down the culprit. But to answer the question first, my setup is all jap NTSC. It is a IFU with white CD rom drive. The IFU is recapped and has a RGB THS7374 mod. The CD Drive is recapped too. I use a white PC Engine or a gray Core Grafx. The Core Grafx is recapped and has its own RGB THS7374 mod installed. The white PC Engine is still stock. The culprit messing up the Wonder Momo title screen is the Core Grafx. All other games so far appear to work normal. How can this be?
(Edited the CoreGrafx)

Have you only tried the RGB output from the CoreGrafx2 ? If you’ve also tried composite, does the composite also have the same issue ?

This one is no more able to output composite. The trace was cut and replaced with sync.

I don't have a CoreGrafx2, but would like to hear from somebody else who does, to try to confirm goemon's issue.
I tested on my local hardware:
- TurboDuo - works - CoreGrafx - works. (2 separate machines)
- PC Engine with UperGrafx - Interesting issue, which has existed from the first beta (but I never tested on this hardware, becuse UperGrafx implements SDCard functionality): -> While the "TEOS_GT" version works fine and Wonder Momo is aligned properly, the "TEOS" high-res screen implements a mode just beyond the UperGrafx's expectations in some way. The screen flashes up, then changes to a black background with occasional colored dots.
I see this as an UperGrafx bug, but I expect the UperGrafx creator may not wish to support this specific resolution, as it does just fine with bascially all professionally-published games. So I suggest using the TEOS_GT version if you feel the need to use TurboEverdrive, TEOS, and UperGrafx all at once (which is unlikely, since UperGrafx already implements pretty much all of the functionality).

I need to correct my post. It is a CoreGrafx which has the the problem, not a CoreGrafx2. Sorry I got confused a little when I wrote the post. So since you tested with two seperate machines something seems to be wrong with that CoreGrafx. Could that be something to do with the RGB sync instead of composite?
