I haven’t been to MGC in many years, unfortunately. Ah okay. Our group has been there as a whole since 2011. Josh, Nectarsis and others have been there since ancient times.

Bigus, we have many folks who come from greater distances to work/enjoy the show. Some of them car pool as well. That can be a rather smelly affair though.

Just promise not to post pics of it on Facebook next time, please. I can't believe I was thinking of skipping the show this year. Livestream is going to be golden this time. Hopefully DickfaceTAS will finish his PCE Memorial game. I foresee a high score contest with duophile swag for prizes!

For somebody who has never been to one of these, what is there to see and do ?
I'm curious, but on the fence. I'd be using up some frequent flier miles and hotel points, so it's not the expense but rather the time that I'm not certain I could afford. ...And TBH, I'd prefer if it was in summer (or further south).
...But you all sound so excited...

Dave For my part MGC is a Turbo-family affair where most of us hang out, play classic arcade, console, old computers, and pinball games. This is the only weekend that we get to see each other so there's always lots of love makin' the rounds. We'd love to have you there this year, Dave. To find us we're part of the museum crew and should be stationed in or around those parts (unless we're in the vendor hall going in-debt lol).
Edit: I didn't intend for my above description of MGC to sound so kinky. I think I'll leave it as-is though. *shrugs*

I'm excited because.... Days off with no work.... Games.... And new people. I chat with most of you all on Discord and to a lesser extent the forums. Also, I'm a new face and hopefully I can bring some fresh air in for the regular crowd. Besides, I think it'll be fun to put a face and real personality along with all these text/forum messages/posts.

Pretty much...The games and arcade do not get a rise out of me since I go to a lot cons, but the ppl cannot be replicated anywhere other than MGC(or ROLF's house to a lesser degree). So sad I cannot join you all since I'll be in Philly for April Annihilation that wknd.
