I'm currently an illustrator and have also worked in game industry some years ago as 3D modeler & dev on Nintendo DS ( later on Unity with mobiles ). Making some tunes from time to time as a hobby through some trackers ( ProTracker & starting on Deflemask ) or FL Studio Welcome Lunoka, it's always good to have someone with game-industry experience join us! Our development toolchain isn't up to industry-quality ... but it's slowly getting better, and it has been used to make some excellent games! Hopefully you'll have fun with HuC and Deflemask.

Hello!
I am greek living in the UK, collecting lot's of retro computers/consoles and wish to try coding for some of them. I am pretty active on the 3DO community, but not long ago bought a NEC PC-FX from a store in York cause it looked nice in shape and color and had specs similar to the 3DO (excluding the lack of textured polygon GPU).
I recently was trying some code on the machine and will have some questions to ask soon (maybe later in the evening or tomorrow) as I am having trouble with few things I try to implement.

Hello!
I am from Canada. I enjoy collecting and playing video games for quite a few consoles like the Virtual Boy and SNES. As for the PC Engine, I got mine in early 2018 and I went for the cd-rom2 and interface unit combo. It just looks so cool and unique. Currently, my favourite games for it are Parasol Stars, Kaizo Choujin Shubibinman, and Neutopia 2. Also, for homebrew games, FX Unit Yuki is one of my favourite games for the system. I hope I get to try out Jessie Jaeger in Cleopatra's Curse as intentioned with my backing of the Super CD version on Kickstarter. Hopefully soon, I guess. Overall, it’s cool to be here and I look forward to future discussions in this community.

Hi all,
I'm dire51. Some of you may know me from my old fansites, such as West Mansion: The Splatterhouse Homepage, The Ghoul Realm and The OPCFG. You may have also heard of my book, Memoirs of a Virtual Caveman, or the book I co-authored for Hardcore Gaming 101, The Guide to Retro Horror. Currently my wife and I have a YouTube channel called Dire & Bette, in which we're mining comedy from old games while mixing in actual history and such at the same time.
I was introduced to the PC Engine through the Turbografx-16 back in 1990, and have been playing it off and on through the years. I recently decided to do a deep dive into the PCE library, and that ended up bringing me here. I don't have the money I did years ago, so I'm gaming on a budget these days, and the PCE is my current console of choice (I think I've done the rest of them to death at this point, actually).
So here I am. It's nice to be here, and I'm looking forward to getting into some serious PCE discussion in the near future.

What's up bros.
Late intro I guess. I have no real history with this console apart from emulating games like lords of thunder and rondo of blood and listening to some of its music. I really like the idea of the hardware though, and recently I decided to try developing something for it. Making a homebrew that uses the supergrafx and arcade card was a goal of mine for a while but until recently I'd considered it above my abilities. Turns out, it's not actually all that difficult.

Hey
I'm Aaron, from the UK, I've been collecting computers and consoles since I was a boy, mostly from car boot sales when I was younger and now from a popular online auction!
I have a nice collection, and like to keep collecting, playing and probably most of all repairing and modifying consoles.
With regards to PC engine I'm lucky enough to have a an original white PC engine, a Duo, and Supergrafx. All brought for cheap that I've repaired.
Hoping to gain and share knowledge here.
Look forward to talking with some of you here.

Hello fellow pce fans - been a long time player and owner but seeing as I’m old this is the first time I’ve used a forum!

Hi to all friends of the PCE I'm from PAL land and an avid collector of 8bit stuff and PlayStation 1 in general and shooters/shot triggers for Xbox 360, Dreamcast, PS4, Switch aaaaand... the PC Engine. Still looking for some of the jewels on the PCE, but hesitant to buy on eBay because of the homemade replicas. Actually, I'm an average player on shooters, but I do suck on bullet hell stuff. Seems to be a generations thing. I obtained a white PC Engine, a Duo-R and a PAL TurboGraphx and 69 games on HuCard and CD (mostly shooters) over the years and my first contact with that brilliant console was an R-Type review in an ancient English Video Game magazine. I think I pulled the trigger to buy the white original PC Engine in the early to mid 2000s and I loved it from the beginning. The package came with four third party controllers with Turbo Eagle something printed on the packages, which I haven't discovered on the net yet. Looking forward to some nice discussions

Hello all, I just got approved today, my history is that I played the TG16 a lot at my cousins when I was a kid, but I didn't get to own one myself until about 10 years ago, and I've been going at it ever since! I've recently been trying to beat Lords of Thunder and have been getting destroyed, but I'll keep at it!

HELLO THERE!!!
David from Spain reporting.
I had a Shuttle clone when I was young, loved every game, Mr. Heli, Splatterhourse, Altered Beast.... it was amazing and I have great memories, I didnt know it was a clone and the games were bootleg, just discovered it many years later.
I've been collecting PCE games for some years, and also found a clone shuttle, a Galaxy, but mine was grey and the name was PC-BOY so Im still searching for it, I also found some of the bootleg games I had, and bought them again.
Best regards to all.
