There's now an extra field in profiles for 'Homebrew Skills' to make it easier to identify what people can do.

Good idea! This got me thinking. What about a "Hardware Repair" or something similar to allow people who are proficient in mod/repair work the opportunity to sorta advertise that they are for hire.
Some naming suggestions: "'Engine Tech" "Turbo Tech" "Duo Doc"

Dropping 'Homebrew' and just having slots for people to put their talents which may contribute to the community might be cool?
Is there any consideration for adding badges? Homebrew art, homebrewprogramming, soldering moding, 3dprinting, etc?

So what exactly is the basics of codong? I can code in C#, Python, and similar high level languages. I have learned to read C, and have done the obeybrew tutorials Old Rover put up, then expanded the tutorial code to do some things for myself when doing art, like loading tiles and sprites and palettes. I've also done the squirrel tutorial and did the mml by hand in code rather than use a midi since I didn't know how to generate one at the time and k wanted some basic music. That being said; I suck at managing a program and memory, I suck at creating AI routines and behavior, etc. That's why I can do the basics of coding. I can read it, and use it well enough to serve my purposes for creating art for the real programmers hahah. I hope to some day release a tool that builds basic .c files for artists to test their work.
