I have to say personal preference. It was very easy for my to adapt to the ProMotion interface thanks to its flexable customizable layout, and similarity to other modern developed interfaces. The workflows are also very similar to photoshop and some game engines I enjoy and am familiar with (game maker, construct, udk, unity). The tools themselves, such as palette manipulation and management, animation onion skinning and iteration, and palette based gradients with flexible dithering and algorithms are all really fun and intuitive. I especially like the various palette based brushes, how easy it is to support the wacom to setup pressure and angle specific behavior of brushes, and save them to global or project specific libraries. Working in ProMotion feels like grafx2.018

ProMotion just has a better interface.
Did Rover make the whole thing open-source where you can see the old code and such?

Last timeI got involved with someone it was Bonknuts over on the prefix forum. Rover had passed the code on to him. But I have messaged Rover and await his response. Wanna work on a game Arkhan? (Not these games). Pyramid Plunder was a long time ago. You even working on any games anymore?

You even working on any games anymore? We're always either planning or working on something, we'll probably start a dev thread in a few weeks just to let people know what's going on (very early days at the moment).
