Do you like Ninja Gaiden?
Been playing this,it's a lot of fun guys give it a try.Just so you know the Unity Engine was used to create the game so the requirements are very high for a game of this type.

I do like Ninja Gaiden, but when you say high requirements, what are we talking? I have the base spec Surface Pro 4

What's high requirements to me might not be to others, from my perspective the requirements are very high. This is minimum requirements.
Intel core i5-4210 1.7Ghz Ram 2 GB

That's on the developers, not on Unity. The system requirements for this game are WAY too massive. There are a lot of professionally generated Unity games that have perfectly reasonable system requirements.

Nothing to do with Unity? What do you think the requirements would have been if C++ and SDL were used instead of Unity.

I didn't say it had NOTHING to do with Unity, just that other developers using Unity manage to drive down system requirements to relatively reasonable levels where this developer did not. That tells me Unity isn't actually the core of the problem. It tells me the developer didn't spend enough time on optimization.

I see what you're saying now, where my comments was about using Unity in general for a game of this type, when it can be accomplished on (see above) and lowered the requirements to potential customers(like our friend soop) with older hardware(non quad cores ect..).

I'm just surprised they made something that a NES could probably do, but somehow it needs a billion+ NES power to run. Optimized it is not.

Most of these smaller 2-person-helmed retro titles are not very efficiently coded or optimized at all. They rely on environments like Unity to make porting to varied platforms easy, but in doing so they don't optimize unless strictly necessary for a particular platform, and the PC gets short-shrift as a result.

Right, that's a good point Spenoza and I sometimes forget about other platforms because I'm exclusively a PC gamer when it comes to modern releases.

I'm stuck on the golem boss, some others have said the games changes to a metroidvania style about half way through the game.
