I'd personally rather just stick to the PCE. The Turbob is my baby, & that's really the only system I have a true interest in making tunes for. If Keranu & Lord Cack showed up, I'd be ok with cutting frames as long as it looked decent. Would doing the game in ASM help though? Are many games made in ASM, or do most people tend to stick to HuC or whatever C depending on the platform?

Well, Arkhan and Rover seem to mostly use C, and then use ASM for key routines. I think Arkhan is probably more ASM savvy than Rover overall. Touko seems to work mostly, if not completely, in ASM. And a couple other one-off developer folks from various places in Europe seem to be ASM junkies. Don't know what Chris, Dave, Tom, and BT (of Mindrec) favor. Elmer definitely seems to know his ASM, but I don't know that he's developed anything for the PCE outside of some tools and HuC stuff, and translation hacking.

I do as much asm as possible now, but still use the nice-ities of C where I can to structure code better.

The opposite of what I do,almost 100% code in C and use assembly when necessary for my project(s),mainly for fixed point math.

I played Jungle Bros. back at MGC years ago. I was really stoked to see the parallax and smooth gameplay! Was any of that source template used in Henshin Engine? It feels similar, but Yuki is a bit fast than the Jungle Bros.

The hard drive in my PC died and I may have lost everything I had for Jungle Bros... as well as all of the cut content from FX Unit Yuki.

Jungle Bros might be on my external drive. The repair guy is going to transfer every file he can get, but I won't know what was saved until I get it back and sift through thousands of files that will have generic names.

Hey guys. I have been gone for sometime. Part of it was a lot of life things and the other part was the fact that Jungle Bros. was so far in the works and pretty much just screeched to a halt.
I know the others involved had issues too but it took a lot of the fire out of the work.
Bad news first, I have no programmer, sprite artist, and unless Paranoia Dragon is still around no music (and oh the music was so, so good)
Good news, I personally never stopped working on this title. Well, it’s actually 2 separate titles (Jungle Bros. and it’s prequel Jungle Bros. Clash).
The brief pics that Black Tiger posted are a fraction of the tilework done.
So, that being said, this community, I hope will be much more fulfilling than the other ones have been (I dip in to see what is going on from time to time). It’s great to be here and even better to hear people want the game.
On that note, the demo should be released. That was an alpha build really. There is much that has changed from that version to the one on my computer.
I never really wanted this game on PC. I felt there wasn’t any other recourse, no one wanted to work on it.
