The final votes for the group stage. After this we will have the 64 best, or at least most popular games on the system.
I admit the system is a little flawed, there are some great games that have slipped through the cracks because they're less popular, but don't worry! This is a good time to acquaint yourself with some popular games that you might have otherwise missed. I've got a few that I'm keeping my eye out for now, including Seiya Monogatari.
On to the head to head matches! And remember, if you want to drop a little review in for any games you have a particular fondness for, feel free to PM me. Especially if it's an RPG, cause I won't have played that.

Maybe you should have a loser's bracket for some dark horse candidates to re-enter the competition once we've got some more stuff off the table.

That's not a bad idea. It looks like Nexzr is heading out at this stage, and I *know* that that's one of the best games on the system, let alone one of the finest shootemups.
How do you reckon the losers bracket would integrate? The original plan was to have the final 64 face off in a series of head to head knockout battles, and 64 is a decent number for that.

That is a difficult question. I guess you could just have a runners-up bracket just to see how they fare against each other, and if there are any outstanding winners you could slot them in one of the upper brackets?

Poor Gomola Speed. Forever underrated.

Ok, so we have a tie for 7-8th:
1 = Nexzr 2 = Dragon Slayer - The Legend Of Heroes 3 = Spriggan Mark 2 4 = Blood Gear

Some polls are locked quite fast after being created, I have a hard time keeping up with them.

Ah, sorry about that - the group stages only had 24 hours per poll! I was thinking about the same thing going ahead, with one knockout vote per day (except over weekends)
