Considering he used that infamous pic off the internet and his attitude and past, I wonder if any of the book is plagiarized.

I didn't design the cover, the publisher did and they pay to use a database of images. 2. I really like Chase H.Q. 3. The only people who looked bad on the Sega 16 thread were them, not me. Meanwhile the company behind Epyx have already released several games to great success, launched the TheC64 Mini console to great success and are about to launch the incredibly exciting Antstream platform (no doubt to great success) - con merchants indeed.

"The only people who looked bad on the Sega 16 thread were them, not me."
I disagree, when others have knowledge on a subject"in this case your past" they should inform programmers/artists/musicians..developers watching out for each other is a very good thing.
"Meanwhile the company behind Epyx"
The questions were/are not about Epyx past, there are about yours.

"Meanwhile the company behind Epyx" The questions were/are not about Epyx past, there are about yours. Except most of what's been said about my past is wrong, especially if you are stupid enough to believe stuff on AtariAge. As I said on Sega 16 and a couple of other forums where people from that Sega 16 thread decided to chase me - do you really think I would have been working on an award winning magazine like Retro Gamer for 6 years if I had such a terrible past? Do you think I would have signed book deals with 3 of the UK's largest publishers? Do you think I would be working with one of the UK's largest software houses or managing the UK's biggest gaming events? I could go on and on really. I proved my worth long ago, if people like Sega 16 and AA still want to go around making up silly little stories, chasing me round the internet and questioning everything I do then it says more about them than it does me. The proof is in the pudding as they say. And yes, people were questioning Epyx, they are the ones publishing the games after all and they are the company that any developers would be dealing with directly and getting paid by etc. And as I said, their current success speaks for itself too. Buy the book or don't buy the book, that's up to you. But thank you to Paul for spreading the word, somebody I have worked with in the past myself, and good luck to the rest of you with your current projects.

Kieren is right, everything he says about himself says more about him than anyone else can.

I don't know who you are or what your story is, but considering how long Stuart Campbell a.k.a. "RevStu" wrote for Retro Gamer, this particular argument of yours doesn't really hold water.

This thread is about the book. We should not spend tons of time attacking the author. People can Google him if they’re worried. We don’t need to rehash a bunch of stuff here.
