Fair price for a PCFX?

Hey all!

So I've been interested in getting a PCFX for a while, both because I like the system and because I want to do videos on it with the real hardware. But I've been looking at prices for a while, and I'm not entirely sure what a fair rate for one is. I've been seeing between $200 and $300 for one, boxed or not, usually leaning towards $250 and upwards.

Is this a fair rate? Is there anywhere besides eBay worth looking for one? That and Yahoo! Auctions I suppose, but between proxy fees and extra shipping costs, that'll probably just even out. I'm expecting I'll have to set aside $250 to grab one in decent shape at this point. I'm about 2/3rds of the way there already and hoping I can scrounge together the rest.

YAJ shipping to the states can hurt but I'd recon it'll be $60-80 FedEx. You can ship SAL to save $20-30 bucks if you can wait 3-4 months. The proxy I use only charges $3-5 bucks per item. You can also find extra stuff to bid on and bundle to offset the costs of shipping. Looking over recent sales, it seems ~$70 for a loose console + pad is the going rate. You do have to be vigilant and look for new listings every couple of days, but I find scrolling through YAJ to be fun (maybe not for my wallet tho)

I might have just been unlucky the week I was looking but I didn't see any BIN for that price. I ended up snagging the cheapest one in good shape I could find on eBay, which was $220 + tax and I'm good with that since I was gifted the money to get one.

YAJ is a ton of fun to look through for sure! But my wallet doesn't like it either :/
