Hello everyone, new guy to this forum as of today! I had a question/issue with a TurboExpress I purchased broken that im trying to repair. From what I can't tell what happened is that someone left batteries in the battery holder and that leaked all over the hucard pcb. A lot of rust an corrosion ate the flat ribbon cable beyond me being able to reuse the cable. I had to desolder it and remove it. The board for the hucard itself was pretty bad with corrosion but I was able to clean it up and fix some broken traces with a jumper wire to get continuity back to the pins. Hopefully that card will last. I can't seem to find the right sized flat ribbon cable that connects the hucard pcb to the main pcb. So my question is can I use a ribbon cable from a computer to make the connection? Or can someone point me to the right cable for purchase? Also is there a replacement hucard pcb for sale?
thank you for any help

Yes, you can just use wire instead of a flat ribbon cable. An old IDE cable would work well.
Let me take a look for you first though. I might have a parts Express with an extra PCB for the hu card slot that I could part with.

That would be awesome of you if you have a hucard pcb that you would part with. Let me know what you want for it. Also if I can help you out as well let me know. Thank you very much again.
