if only there was a remake of the original metal gear on pc engine, the remake of the MSX original not the nes one, that would been a killer, imagine latter pc engine konami graphics and game play circa 1992-93 and fmv for the game as well as much bigger storage as we all know hideo kojima loves long cut scenes, that would been a killer app for pc engine assuming that hideo has time to create while porting snatchers to pc engine cd rom and making policenauts, it's probably that hideo kojima would off been famous earlier than when his hit metal gear solid arrived on ps1.

And along with that, might as well port the second one.

If this is one of those "games we wish had come out for the PC Engine/TG16" threads, my vote would have been the original Ghosts n Goblins. I can play it on my NES classic, but it is so darn ugly on the NES.

He got famous on the PS1 because the PS1 was famous and SCEI had the money to help get MGS into every market. Any PCE port of this game or any other would have stayed Japan-only just like everything else he did so I guess fail to see your logic.

Makaimura is one of my favorite games. Even just a plain straight port would have been great.
