No doubt. If I could stand to listen to unproduced chip tunes for more than two minutes I’d buy this.

I have a few of the Columbus Circle Famicom carts, and I’ve never had a problem with them. I’ve heard good things about Remute’s music so I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on this project.

Now check this out. A German musician by the name of Remute has been working on an album of songs made for the PC-Engine (chip tunes/HuC6280) and is planning to release it on actual HuCards starting early 2021. How cool! "After his two highly acclaimed albums Technoptimistic and The Cult Of Remute which were released as Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo gamecartridges, german techno musician Remute presents the next novelty: His new album Electronic Lifestyle comes exclusively for the PC-Engine gameconsole (called Turbografx-16 in the USA) on a forgotten, but cute and cool format - the HuCard. It is the first music album release for theconsole ever and the first commercial HuCard release since many years."Pre-orders are already being taken. Check it out here: Electronic Lifestyle by Remute
View AttachmentView AttachmentView Attachment Ohh hey! This is the same guy that did Red Eyes on the MD. Pretty nice demo that pushed the MD. But typical PCE stuff here.. doesn't even try to push the PCE's sound chip. Considering what's been done on a lot of other systems over the years, it's not as easy to get excited over average effort (from a guy known for more than that) - but I guess PCE love is still PCE love and that counts haha. Thanks for the link!

Oh, for sure. He’ll sell every one. Admittedly, it's hard not to see limited releases on obscure formats as anything but a gimmick/novelty. But, I am a sucker for this sort of novelty, it seems, especially recently: Why else would I buy: Game & Watch SMB TG-16 and PCE mini-dumdums NES/SNES/Genesis mini-dumdums I have the consoles, I prefer the consoles... I guess I was too lazy to hookup a computer/raspberry pi to my HDMI TV? I mean, I really just needed an excuse to waste my money on something. But, truth be told, I am sucker.

I like the Mini consoles. They aren’t perfect but they are all great. I’ve been playing one or the other all year, mostly PCE. My 5 year old really likes Bonk 2, Chew Man Fu, and The Kung Fu.
The only reason I’m not buying this HuCARD album is because it’s XMas time in the year of the plague and I have better things to spend my $ on than chip tunes I don’t like because I don’t really like chip tunes that much. It’s a great project otherwise.

When I travel I can toss a mini in my backpack and show cousins and nephews the classics they would otherwise never see. This is another reason I like to be able to customize the game selection, to show specific other games that are not included (turtles in time, blades of steel, etc)

ALL IN GOOD TIME. But, I am glad to hear that other folks see these mini-dumdums as a convenient, fun little package for HDMI. I'm not going to buy an upscaler. (FASTFORWARD 5-10 years and I'll be posting about buying an upscaler). I am always behind-the-curve.

Yeah, I’ve never done it either. When they eventually have a good crack for the PCE one I’ll look into it. They are very entertaining as shipped.

Placed an order for this last week and just turned up today. Wish it came with some kind of jewel case tho, instead had a plastic slip wrapped with paper and sent in a small Jiffy bag but it works

alright some more pics then That remote logo is basically a sticker sheet, the card itself seems a lil' heavier than normal hucards but not much.. The sides feel ridged like several layers have been glued together sample audio recorded from original white pc engine/briefcase set up with basically just the raw audio no mix.. I guess the head banging druid is a nod to Devil Crash/crush
