I have need of one of these, don’t want to build it. I’m not opposed to additional features like HDMI or whatever but I really only need the one function. I can wire it in but I also have SCART (not RGB21) output so if something just plugged in that would be great. Price isn’t very important but given the simplicity of this circuit I can’t imagine it being over $40.
Any suggestions? Links?

Retrotink RGB2Comp looks like a winner for you, too bad it's sold out ATM. www.retrotink.com/product-page/rgb2compI've not used it but has been getting favorable reviews. I've seen them used in arcade machines when replacing the CRT with a consumer grade TV with component inputs. I've have used the j-rok encoder (http://www.jrok.com/hardware/RGB.html) but it's more expensive and does not have SCART connections b/c it geared more for arcade wiring.

I have a JROK in my consolized MVS, its nice, but yeah, way overkill for what I'm working on at the moment.
I ordered some super super cheap no name thing off eBay, I'll post a followup when I get it.
