I think no matter what they did there would be games that didn't make the cut. Splatter house and Legendary Axe are big ones that stand out to me. We did get unexpected stuff like Sapphire and Supergrafx games so the list is overall pretty decent. I feel bad for Ys III it has always been one of my guilty pleasures and it has never been available again on the Turbo.

Also no reason to get the different shells other than being a collectard.

Thrilled with the gameslist. Splatterhouse not being there is a bummer, and same with Bonk's Big Adventure and the original Bomberman, but I won't complain. 50 games? Thank goodness.

5 are regional repeats, so more like 45 games. And for any westerner who doesn’t understand Japanese, Necromancer isn’t helpful.

Yeah, but I can use a translation if need be. . A very happy day for TG-16 fans regardless.

Seems like a pretty good spread, but the lack of Namco and Victor (Legendary Axe) titles is slightly disappointing. Personally I would remove Psychosis and put in almost anything else. Not to say it's a bad game, but there are better choice IMO.
Anyway, one odd thing is that the JPN PCE mini removes Salamander and adds Tokimeki Memorial. So there's a minor difference to the releases at least.

Hoping this will help other people discovered the Turbob and get them developing new games and ports and hacks and such!

Overall the game list is solid. It really has quite a few of the best titles. I'm surprised they threw a SGX game in but saddened at the lack of Legendary Axe, Splatterhouse and Gate of Thunder as previously mentioned. Since all three versions are basically getting the same game list and with a suspected price of $100 it appears I will not be collectarding them all. Konami pulled a Konami but at least it's not as bad as the PSX mini. I'm sure they will be hacked anyways so the error of Konami's ways can be corrected.

So did the pre-orders sell out, or was it ever available?
Also - it isn't listed on Amazon.ca at all...

I been checking and I have not seen it for sale yet on amazon.com. Some dudes on twitter were like switch the app to Japan region. I'm like c'mon Konmai quit acting like NEC from 1989 and make this available to purchase ha ha ha. I'm not losing sleep over this as this is more of a collectors piece for me.

The peripherals are available for pre-order, I ordered an extra controller and a turbo tap and an AC adapter. I'm not clear if the system comes with an AC adapter, I hope it does so I can cancel my pre-order on that. Also, I do wish the turbotap and controller were the TurboGrafx colors instead of the PC engine colors.
