I still think the Sega CD version's rant on censorship is one of the funniest things I've read in a game. Top-notch stuff there.

So, we haven't had a good set of polls to wade through, lately. Would anyone be interested in a series of polls to determine what our most anticipated titles on this mini unit are?

I'm confused about the "we will consider adding more games in the future" remark from that Metro preview. This thing can't connect to the internet, right? How would it download more games?

They MAY have been suggesting they might add titles after that preview but prior to actual release. I doubt they would bother to include network capabilities.

I think they’d do everything to avoid it short of epoxy filling the board (too expensive). With USB ports and likely little to no proprietary components I think we can count on it being to run complete ROM sets unofficially within days of release. That’s just how stuff is now.

I think the uk newspaper misquoted the original article in japanese, the designers stated if the pc engine mini is sucessful, then a future model could be possible as there are over 600 games to choose from.

It's kind of a weird article on polygon, we already knew about those games being on the system months ago....

The systems are out in less than a month and Play Asia still haven’t opened orders so I panicked and went with white one from an eBay seller, $140 shipped to the US, not bad at all IMO. When the big dumb American version hits $50 I’ll snag that one too, just like my brother did with the original back in 92. I wonder if the American pads will be *slightly* larger like they were for the original. The devotion to authenticity is pretty significant, to the point of omitting turbos for the white system. CERO D, btw. Apparently we are violent perverts.
