Since this is a free message board I am concerned with the long term viability of the posts here. What happens if proboards shuts down or changes things like freeforums did? Is there a way to easily migrate the messages to another forum? Would it not be better to pay for server space and have it hosted elsewhere? Just a few concerns I had

I guess that's always a concern, but I've had another board on Proboards for 13+ years and it's still pretty safe. Nothing is eternal.

I was nervous about this too. Especially since the freeforums site went down. But I don't know anything about proboards and it sounds like they're more well established so, that helps.

Proboards brings me back to my high-school internet browsing days, now roughly a decade ago. There's a bit of nostalgia involved.

As long as there is an easy way to back things up I wouldn't be concerned.
