Hi everyone, I'm Chris from Essex. I was a latecomer to the PCE world despite being a religious reader of CVG and the like through the 90s I never paid any attention or saw the goodness. My first experience was stumbling on the PCE/TG selection on the Wii virtual console. My first was Neutopia. I got it because I was looking for a Zelda type game. My my I was hooked and knew I had been missing out on something special. Next I dipped into Drac X. Mind blown. All the time while I had been playing fantastic Dizzy this was available; the intro , the music, the atmosphere (not that Dizzy is bad or anything, just for comparison). My wife bought me a PAL turbografx, which was nice but obviously not the optimal experience. Then, after getting acquainted with the NEC world first hand I got a briefcase set up, RGB modded from France. My current set up is an RGB modded PCE Duo from the wonderful Keith Courage, played on a nice Panasonic CRT. I would have to say my favourite games are the Ys series as a whole. Love Dungeon explorer too and Gunhed is my favourite shooter. Hello to everyone I already know.

Hello all,
Long time PC Engine gamer and collector from London. I've been utterly obsessed with the system since I got my first white PCE back in 1989 and currently the only system's missing from my collection are the Duo's. Really nice to see a dedicated forum from Sunteam anyway, I look forward to the informative and entertaining discussions.

Hiya peoples. My name is Owlnonymous and I predomently collect pinball and arcade games. I grew up playing and adoring the NES, but was introduced to the PCE through PunkicCyborg about 7 years ago, and immediately fell in love immediately. I owned a recapped DUO-R for ages, but just sold it to a friend to afford a SSDS3 paired with a CoreGrafx, and couldn't be happier. When I'm playing games I'm usually camgirling it up on my Twitch, and have been featured on early episodes of the GameHuggers.

Long time PC Engine fan in Yorkshire, England. I think I've owned most models since '89, sadly I traded my SuperGrafX away in the early 90s, and it's my biggest retrogaming regret (along with parting with my Super Magic Griffin) *sigh* I still have my original white model, a Turbo Duo and a GT along with a modest amount of Super CDs. Not much in the way of Hucards but hopefully that will change. One day I *will* own a PC Engine LT, my personal Holy Grail.

Hey
Just bought a PC engine but been playing games forever. I have a Blast City, many PCB's and just love this hobby of collecting and playing the games. Being a family dad I dont get to spend a lot of time gaming and when I do I tend to game on the older systems. The PC engine is a Dou-R with a RGB Mod which i'm trying to get some quality games for.... (Trying ... as in getting them cheap) :-)

My name is Jim, from Toledo, Ohio USA. Growing up I was big into NES and Genesis (Mega Drive). Turbografx was not really known or advertised in my area so I was unaware of it's exsistance when I was young. Around the time I graduated high school in 2003 I started playing my old systems and games again and started grabbing games off of ebay that I always wanted or had fond memories of renting.
During my early collecting days I found out about the TurboGrafx and finally purchased one in 2010. My first loves were the Bonk series, the Neutopia games and Splatterhouse. Once a friend showed me Dracula X on Wii VC I knew I had to get CD hardware. Since that point I've acquired a large collection of Turbo/PCE hardware and games and still continue to try and unearth great lesser known titles thanks to the knowledge of this great community. Happy to be here!

Got my first TG16 in 1994 (still have it).. been my favourite ever since...
Don't mess with me, because I will fight you, and if I fight you there will be two punches - me punching you and you hitting the floor. Believe me, you don't want me to roundhouse you in my cutoffs.

Hello, I've been an avid Turbo Graphics collector for several years now. My dream is to one day own the holy grail. The rare out of print PCEWorks Magical Chase set.

Hello, everyone! Oldhomehaibane here from the US.
I'm pretty new to the PC Engine, I must say. I did play through Rondo of Blood on an emulator a few years back but otherwise didn't think much about the PC Engine until recently when I thought that some of the RPGs might provide me with some good kanji practice (I am learning Japanese). I'm the proud owner of a PC Engine Duo-R now and since getting one I've surprisingly found myself really getting into shmups (main reason I never got the system before is I didn't consider myself much of a shmup fan). I'm not any good at them yet, but I hope to get better!
Only games I've beaten are Coryoon, Legendary Axe, Ninja Spirit and Rondo of Blood. Working on R-Type at the moment--love all Irem games for their strong visual design and satisfying difficulty.

Was up turbofiends,
I was introduced to the Turbografx-16 by a friend back in early 90's, first games I played were Bonk's Adventure and Blazing Lazers, was blown away not just by the graphics and gameplay but also tripped out on how the games came in, jewel cases and hucards, couldn't believe the size of the games. Started up collecting retro games about 7 years ago, one of those systems was the turbografx, was able to come across a few lots and next thing I knew I was half way to the full set, so decided, why not go for a full set, had lots of help from fellow turbo heads, and friends. Now I stand at 93 out of 94. Last one is Magical Chase, maybe one day I'll come across it for a fair price.
