Here's a photo of my TED2, I ordered it with USB naively thinking it would allow me to push builds of Catastrophy faster (kinda like running a build from a pc to ps4 using visual studio) Is this what you're talking about? Yes, the USB jack in front is a pain because the leads are underneath and don’t actually extend to the edge. The 40-ish pin devil on the right is the other chip (I wouldn’t balk at the small one).

Just curious, what kind of tip were you using to solder these guys? I've found bent chisels like this much easier to work with for surface mount stuff, including those same USB connectors. Your mileage may vary of course.

Yep, you've got one of the wonderfully-rare USB boards, congratulations! There's nothing naive about thinking that you can push builds of Catastrophy down to the board ... that's EXACTLY what you can do with the USB port. No more fiddling around with SD cards! So much easier! You just need KRIKzz's file transfer program here ... krikzz.com/pub/support/turbo-everdrive/v2/usb-tool/turbo-usb2.exe... and a USB cable to connect the TED2 to your (Windows) PC. When you plug the cable into your PC (with the TED2's power on), you'll be prompted to install a driver, which you can find here ... www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htmThen, I'm afraid, things are easiest if you use a command prompt ... Type in " turbo-usb2 catastrophy.pce" (or "main.pce" if you've still not renamed that main source file of yours), and lo-and-behold, the cartridge will be transferred to the TED2 and run. It makes testing stuff on the real hardware SO much easier.

I don't mean to be overly dramatic, but you explanatory response just gave me chills.
I know what I am working on today, thank you so much!
Edit: Update on using this functionality - instant success! Thank you for all of the information, but I didn't need to install the driver. I also didn't need to use the cmd prompt to push the build - dragging the catastrophy.pce onto the turbo-usb2.exe worked fine - but I also tried and was able to use the cmd prompt as you suggested.
I couldn't push a build while the game is running. It seem I have to be at the OS screen to receive a build on the TED. I physically press the reset button then push the build.
Would it be possible to make the TED reset to the OS when turbo-usb2.exe is executed?
Even with having to reset the system before pushing builds, this is a huge time savor and I will be checking the game on the tv often now! Thank you for your help and info!

Theoretically ... yes, something along those lines could be possible in the future, but the game itself would need to contain code to detect that an upload is being started, because there's no way to remotely force the PCE to reset into the TED OS.
